I am extremely delighted to know that St Gregorios College, Kottarakara is launching its website intending to make its functioning more professional. A long time has passed since I completed my Pre-degree course during 1979-81 in this prestigious institution. I passionately remember that peaceful period without mobile phones, personal computers, and the internet. Still, I enjoyed my adolescent life with my friends and vigilant teachers. I humbly salute my teachers who helped me a lot and instilled great confidence in me and put me in the transfer orbit, and finally to a position where  I am today. They have poured in me, not only the scientific knowledge but moral values as well. This institution gave me a lot of opportunities to develop my personality by allowing me to represent the college in various quiz competitions and debates. I was one of the students who was assigned the task of forming the first science club here. One aspect of this institution that I greatly admire is the secular ambiance it provided for the academic community.
