Rev. Fr. Baby Thomas, the Superior of the Community of St. George (Bethlehem Ashramam), Chengamanadu, Kottarakara, the sponsoring agency of the College, is the Manager of St. Gregorios College. Fr. Baby Thomas belongs to the Chakkalakkuzhiyil family of Vayalathala, Pathanamthitta district. He completed his graduation in Political Science from St. John’s College, Anchal, and the Master degree from the University of Kerala. Fr. Baby Thomas was ordinate to priesthood in 1979 and had served as the Secretary of Thiruvananthapuram Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Church, during 2002-2012. He had joined the St. Gregorios College as Lecturer in the Department pf Political Science in 1987 and retired as Associate Professor in 2011. Currently, in addition to his duties as the Superior of Bethlehem Ashramam and Manager of St. Gregorios College, Fr. Baby Thomas is serving as the Manager of Baselios Marthoma Mathews II College of Teacher Education, Kottarakara, MPM ITC, Chengamanadu, Mar Baselios English Medium School, Kottappuram, Kottarakara, and Mar Gregorios English Medium School, Pattazhy.
