The Population Education Club was founded on the premise that a thorough knowledge of benefits and problems posed by population growth is an essential part of adult education. The club is envisioned as a forum for facilitating various programmes and extension activities which benefit the larger community. This includes awareness classeson themes such as family planning, health, the dangers of population explosion, digital and legal literacy, etc.
