The Entrepreneurship Development Club (EDC) at GISAT is promoted by the Govt. of Kerala Directorate of Industries & Commerce to foster techno-entrepreneurship for generation of wealth and employment. The mission of the EDC is to “develop institutional mechanism to create entrepreneurial culture among the stakeholders and to foster growth entrepreneurship amongst the students, faculty and the society at large “.Entrepreneurship Club at St Gregorios College Kottarakkara is an organized platform established in an attempt to tackle students’ hesitation to start a new business. It is run by the students of the college. It seeks to embellish the skills of business students to prepare them for entrepreneurship.

Vision 

To serve as a platform that aims at accelerating entrepreneurship. Our mission is to empower students to become social entrepreneurs by instilling the basics of business strategy and the process for starting and maintaining an organization. Our students tackle specific social problems through their own projects, or through collaboration with existing businesses and organizations. ED club in our college has been established to unearth the immense hidden potentiality and leadership of the students.The intention behind all the activities of this club is to help its members to sense the enormous latent force they possess. Moreover, complying with the modern day corporate ambiance, team work is emphasized here prior to every thing so that the members can feel the bond in the long term when they will enter into the real corporate activities.
